A two piece 1970s vintage outfit that can be worn together or separately, and both pieces very cute indeed! The spaghetti strapped bodice uses the striped fabric, fitted with darts and an empire waist that curves up to the center front. The four gored skirt stays close to the body until below the waist, when it flares into a danceworthy skirt. The long sleeved overshirt adds a more sedate air - it has a neckpiece that is a combination of standup collar and attached scarf. The scarf part can be worn loose or turned into a winsome soft bow.

FABRIC/COLORS: Jersey knit in an unexpectedly refreshing soft shade of mint green striped with white for the bodice and the overshirt. It is dry to the hand; i.e., not slick like disco shirt material. There is a care tag, partially obscured by being sewn into a blind seam. What is left advises no chlorine bleach, and to hang dry or tumble dry on low. Fiber burn test identifies this as polyester.
